Derryinver House has the best of both worlds situated only 8 minutes walk from Clifden Beach, yet only 12 minutes walk from the vibrant town of Clifden the Capital of Connemara with it’s shops, boutiques, art galleries, bars , restaurants and all local amenities. This is a wonderful destination for those who want to get into the great outdoors, explore the beauty of the west of Ireland, enjoy a round of golf in Connemara’s championship links Golf course or visit the friendly little rural villages with fine traditional cultures of Connemara.

The ground floor level contains a sitting room, open plan kitchen/dining area with doors to a small terrace, large balcony, utility room, double bedroom with ensuite shower room, separate bathroom. First floor: Small study/library area with wireless internet, master bedroom with ensuite shower room, further double bedroom. Door leading out onto another balcony.
On entering the sitting room you are immediately struck by the two large windows overlooking the spectacular sea views, this elegant room is warm and cosy with cream leather sofas, cream carpets, tv, wood burning stove, window seat and dining table.
The kitchen/dining area features a fully fitted kitchen with integrated appliances, granite worktop, microwave, dishwasher, the dining area has a Stanley oil range and seating for 8 people, there are doors opening onto the patio area with table and chairs perfect to enjoy the clean air, breath-taking scenery and listen to the birds singing whilst enjoying your morning coffee. The utility room is located off the dining area at the back of the house and has a separate washer and dryer.
From the entrance hall, there is a double bedroom to the front of the house with a double and single bed and an ensuite shower room. There is a separate bathroom with bath and hand held shower.
From the sitting room there are stairs leading to a small study/ library area, from here you will find a spacious and bright master bedroom with a large window overlooking the bay, there is a large ensuite shower room and wardrobe. Leading to the second bedroom is a door to another balcony where you can sit and read a book from the library, complete relaxation on those long summer evenings. There is a further double bedroom with dual aspect windows.
Entering the house is a large balcony with table and chairs, BBQ and sun loungers, this area is large enough to enjoy alfresco dining or just relax and watch the fishing boats go past with their fresh catch heading to Clifden Pier nearby.

Set between the Atlantic Ocean, 12 Ben Mountains and preserved boglands, lies the town of Clifden on the Coast of Connemara. Enhanced by spectacular scenery, championship golfing, horse-riding, walking, cycling, hill walking, beaches, fishing, scubadiving, painting, national parks, abbeys, castle ruins and over 5,000 years of living history. you can take a wonderful walk up the Sky Road, it is a great way to see the wonderful backdrop to the town along with the two church spires, which give Clifden its distinctive skyline. Along the Sky Road is a gateway leading to the ruins of the old D'Arcy mansion, Clifden Castle. Once a Gothic Mansion, the D'Arcy's lived here until 1850 when the estate was sold to the Eyre Family who lived here at intervals until the castle fell into ruin in the early 20th century.
Clifden town ‘the Capital of Connemara’ oozing history, heritage, culture & traditions of Irish Music and Dance. This vibrant town has an array of shops ranging from quality gifts, souvenir, sweaters, to fashionable boutiques, antique shops and art galleries. There are many cosy coffee shops, bakery, pubs that are genuine 'quaint-Irish' to the more trendy where entertainment is plentiful with traditional, modern music and dance. Clifden has a reputation for the West's 'Gourmet Capital' – it has the finest of restaurants from fine dining to pub food.
