Thomas V. Ryan Auctioneers

Formed in the late 1800’s by Timothy Ryan (Thomas V. Ryan’s Grandfather) the firm is reputed to be the longest established auctioneering practice in County Tipperary. It spans 4 generations and is presently made up of father and son team Thomas V. Ryan & Vincent Ryan. The firm worked from Pallas, Borrisoleigh until 2001 when it acquired an office at Dempsey Square, Thurles. The firm offers a wide range of property services across the residential, commercial and agricultural sectors. In its many years in business it became known for its professionalism and integrity. Thomas V. Ryan has been an auctioneer since the 1970’s and qualified as a member of the IAVI in 1984. He is now a member of the Society Of Chartered Surveyors Ireland. Vincent Ryan completed the auctioneering diploma in DIT Bolton Street in 1998 and subsequently completed the valuation surveying degree in Limerick I.T. In 2006 he became a Chartered Valuation Surveyor upon completion of his A.P.C training. In doing so he became the first auctioneer/valuer in Mid Tipperary to achieve the Chartered designation.
